You Care About Each Other. But Something’s Not Working.

Let’s untangle what’s getting in the way—and build something that fits you both.

A Little About Me

I’m a therapist who works with couples navigating all kinds of questions—how to communicate better, how to stay connected through stress, how to repair after conflict, or even whether they want to stay together at all. I bring a warm, curious presence to our sessions, along with training in Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Discernment Counseling. I also support polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships, and I create space for each person to feel heard without judgment. Whether things feel tense, distant, or just confusing, I help couples slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and figure out what comes next—together. You can learn more here.

When connection feels hard, therapy can help.

Relationships aren’t always easy—especially when stress, miscommunication, or big life shifts start to pile up. Whether you're feeling stuck in the same arguments, wondering if you’ve grown apart, or trying to navigate different needs, couples therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

I work with couples in all stages—dating, long-term, newly committed, married, or figuring things out. I also welcome polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships, and offer support that’s non-judgmental, curious, and grounded in real tools.

Couples I Work With Often Are:

  • Stuck in the same fights and unsure how to move forward

  • Struggling to feel close again after a rupture or conflict

  • Navigating open/poly dynamics or mismatched needs

  • Feeling distant or “off” but still care deeply

  • Considering whether to stay or separate

  • Wanting to improve communication and intimacy

What You Can Expect

🧭 A thoughtful, down-to-earth approach
I bring both structure and flexibility to each session, drawing from Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Discernment Counseling—depending on what fits you best.

🗣️ Space for each of you to feel heard
Couples therapy isn’t about taking sides. It’s about creating space to slow down, get clear on what’s really happening, and start building something different together.

💡 Tools that actually work in real life
We’ll work on communication, trust, boundaries, emotional safety, and whatever else is getting in the way of the connection you want.

A Note on Discernment Counseling

If you're not sure whether you want to stay together or not, I offer Discernment Counseling—a short-term process designed to help couples get clarity about their next steps, without pressure or assumption.

  • Psychotherapy can be a powerful tool for navigating life's challenges, processing difficult emotions, and moving through patterns you might feel stuck in. We’ll guide you through this process by offering support and effective strategies to bolster your unique strengths, connections, and skills to foster healing and growth. By addressing both challenges and strengths, psychotherapy empowers you to move forward and engage with life in a more satisfying way.

  • The first step in getting started is finding a therapist that is a supportive fit for you. Research shows that the effectiveness of psychotherapy is closely tied to the relationship between the client and therapist, which is why an initial consultation is important.

At Noema Care a free consultation is offered to discuss therapy goals, fees, and scheduling. During an initial consult, you’ll be able to assess the therapist's suitability and the therapist will determine if their expertise meets your needs. If needed, therapists will refer you to practitioners they deem are a better fit.

You’ll know you have a good fit when you feel the therapist understands you, offers helpful insights, support, and tools. You can get a better sense of fit after completing an initial consult.

If you choose to move forward, the initial session then provides an opportunity to further connect and collaborate on therapy goals and duration. Clients are always informed about therapy costs, length, and methods and have the freedom to end therapy at any time.

  • Yes, but this depends on your specific insurance coverage. Please check with your insurance to see if you are covered for “Registered Psychotherapist.”

Most private insurance plans cover mental health services, but the type of providers (i.e. Registered Psychotherapist, Social Workers etc.,) and the amount they cover can vary.
