Supportive space to navigate the challenges of adolescence

Adolescence can be a time of significant change, pressure, and self-discovery. Our therapists provide teens with a non-judgmental space where they can talk openly, better understand themselves, and learn practical tools for managing life's challenges.

What Can Therapy Help With?

We work with people on a range of topics, including but not limited to:

❋ Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
❋ Emotional regulation difficulties
❋ Self-esteem, confidence, and identity
❋ ADHD
❋ Major life transitions
❋ Personal growth and finding more meaning

Together, we help teens build resilience, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and develop greater confidence as they navigate school, friendships, family relationships, and their future.

Our Approach

Therapy is a space for you to explore what matters most, unravel what's holding you back, and build more balance and clarity in your life. We work with individuals who are thoughtful and self-aware, but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about the next step — whether it’s stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or something else.

Together, we’ll dig into what’s going on beneath the surface — your thoughts, feelings, and body’s signals — and move toward a deeper understanding of yourself. We use a mix of evidence-based tools, like CBT, mindfulness, somatic work, and neurofeedback, as well as a dose of humor and curiosity to help you move forward in a way that makes sense for you.

Sessions are available online and in-person at 1364 Dundas Street West.

Services Offered

We offer 50-minute sessions (starting at $155), both online and in-person in Toronto’s West End (Trinity Bellwoods). Evening and weekend appointments are available to accommodate busy schedules.

We also provide sliding scale spots if cost is a concern and insurance receipts for Registered Psychotherapist coverage.

FAQs

  • In the initial session we’ll put together a plan and set a cadence that feels supportive.

  • It depends! Some people see quick shifts in just a few sessions, while others may need or want longer-term support. As a general guideline, plan to commit to at least 12 sessions. We’ll check in regularly about how things are going.

  • We accept credit card and debit payments. Receipts are provided after each session for insurance reimbursement, if applicable.

  • Yes, we have a limited number of sliding scale spots available — please feel free to reach out and inquire. We can also help you navigate free programs that may exist in your community, as additional support to our individual work if that’s appropriate or wanted.

  • We’ll check in regularly — not just with how you’re feeling day to day, but with what really matters to you. We use a measurement-based care approach, which means we’ll track your progress over time using simple check-ins or questionnaires. This helps us stay on the same page, adjust our approach if needed, and make sure therapy is actually helping you feel better.

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, but often you’ll start to feel more grounded, clearer, or more equipped to handle things. Sometimes we’ll know because you’ve met the goals we set together. Other times, you might just feel ready to take a break. We can talk about this openly — there’s no pressure to keep going longer than you want to. You can always come back if life throws you something new.

  • That’s completely valid — and unfortunately, not uncommon. Maybe a past therapist felt checked out, too clinical, or just didn’t get you. That can make it harder to trust the process again. If you’re open to trying, we can go at your pace. We welcome your questions, and your past experiences — the good and the not-so-great. This is your space, and we’re here to support your goals.

How Do I Get Started?

You can start by booking a free 15-20 minute consult — we’ll chat about what you’re looking for in therapy and figure out if we’re a good fit. If you’re ready to jump in, you can schedule your first session right after. You can also learn more about therapy here.
