I'm drawn to what lies beneath the surface, the patterns, stories, and experiences that shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. My own journey has taught me that real change often happens in the relationship we have with ourselves. That belief is at the heart of how I work.
I bring a calm, curious, and grounded presence to therapy. It is non-judgmental, and genuinely interested in who you are, not just what you're struggling with. I also believe that warmth and rigour aren't opposites, and I hold both.
I work with individuals (18+) and teens (16+) coping with anxiety, depression, life changes, relationship issues, loss/grief, shame, and self-criticism. I also support individuals wanting to develop more self-compassion.

My Approach
I work integratively, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Compassion-Focused Therapy, CBT, somatic and mindfulness-based methods, IFS, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, tailored to what you actually need, not a fixed formula. Sessions typically have a rhythm: we ground, we explore, we work, and we close with grounding again. I tend to work at the roots, not just the symptoms, and I'm particularly drawn to the relationship between shame, self-criticism, and all the ways we've learned to protect ourselves from the world.
I also believe psychoeducation is a powerful tool and understanding why you feel or respond the way you do can be its own form of relief. And I love a good metaphor.
