At Noema Psychotherapy & Couples Therapy (“Noema,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit noema.ca, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

It does not govern clinical records or personal health information, which are handled in accordance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and disclosed through your therapist’s separate Notice of Privacy Practices.

We collect two types of information through our website:

When you use our website contact form or inquiry form to reach out to us, we collect:

  • Your email address

  • Any additional information you choose to include in your message

Please note: our website contact form is not a secure channel for sharing sensitive or clinical information. If you have an existing therapeutic relationship with us, please use JaneApp or contact your therapist directly.

b) Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our website platform (Squarespace). This may include:

  • Your IP address and general geographic location

  • Browser type and device information

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page

  • Referring website or search query


This information is collected to understand how our website is used and to improve your experience. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through our website to:

Website analytics data retained by Squarespace is subject to their data retention policies.

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Withdraw consent to our use of your information (where applicable)

  • Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (for example, Psychology Today or our scheduling platform). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Children’s Privacy


Our website is not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
