I believe self-awareness is an important first step toward healing. Yet understanding ourselves  isn’t always easy and what we carry in our bodies is sometimes outside of our awareness.  Learning to recognize and understand our emotions and patterns can feel a little like learning a  new language and with time, we become better able to listen to what they may be telling us and  understand ourselves more deeply.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, stress, burnout, relationship  difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, or a general sense that something isn’t quite right. I  welcome clients from a range of backgrounds and experiences, whether you’re facing a specific  challenge or looking for a space to better understand yourself, heal, and feel more connected to  yourself and your life.

My Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and primarily psychodynamic. Together, we may explore past experiences, relationships, and trauma to better understand the ways we’ve learned to protect ourselves that may still be shaping your life today. Through greater awareness and emotional understanding, we can work toward regulating difficult feelings, healing old wounds, and loosening patterns that may no longer serve you. I also recognize that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Depending on what you need and hope to get from therapy, I draw from other approaches and adapt our work to what feels most meaningful and supportive to you.
